The data in this BioProject consist of laboratory molecular grade water samples used to ascertain DNA amplification considered to be background in a 16S V1-V2 metagenomic study of bacterial tickborne pathogens in clinical specimens. These water specimens were sequenced in conjunction with bacterial tickborne positive specimens and as a result a low level of index bleed is present. Lot number is provided when available.
