Charging stations for electric vehicles or Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (IRVE) in the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle. background: The law on energy transition for green growth places territories at the heart of the Climate-Air-Energy action. This law established the framework within which the scheme “Positive Energy Territories for Green Growth” is developed. In the Grand Est, Meurthe-et-Moselle is the only department to have been awarded the national call for projects.This is the case for only a dozen departments at the national level. Among the actions presented by the Meurthe-et-Moselle, was selected the development of departmental carpooling areas to promote electro-mobility and intermodality (50 car-sharing areas developed in 2015). In addition to these areas, access gates and/or charging stations for electric vehicles are installed according to the criteria of attendance.
