We characterized biofilm communities which were exposed to several electron acceptors related to uranium VI (U(VI)) microbial reduction. The biofilm was firstly exposed to nitrate, sulfate and oxygen as electron acceptors. Later, U(VI) and bicarbonate were introduced as electron acceptors in the artificial water. Finally, sulfate was added in addition to U(VI) and bicarbonate.
