This study investigates the transcriptional consequences of an inducible deletion of RetSat in epithelial cells of the intestine. Kiefer MF et. al, American Journal of Physiology-Endocrinology and Metabolism, 2024 Overall design: Male C57BL/6J mice with floxed RetSat alleles with (Cre+) or without (Cre-) villin-Cre-ERT2 were treated with Tamoxifen for 5 days. Afterwards, mice were fed a high-fat diet for 14 weeks. At the end of the study, jenjunal tissue was subjected to RNA isolation. RNA was DNAse digested and profilex by RNAseq.
