This data consists of 5418 records derived from 6 tows covering 10.421 km at 1.92m resolution, over a depth range of 50.1 to .7 meters. Classification of the benthos and substrate was based on 17 benthic classes and 6 substrate classes.\n\nSummary of the primary benthic categories recorded\nGorgonians 26.56%\nHard Coral 19.18%\nMacroalgae 24.20%\nNoBenthos 9.60%\nSoft Coral 20.47%\n\n\nSummary of substrates recorded\nLimestone 48.54%\nNoSub 0.04%\nRock 3.25%\nRubble 17.33%\nSand 7.05%\nSandCoarse 7.48%\nSandWaves 1.03%\nSilt 5.48%\nStone 9.80%\n\nA custom interface has been developed by AIMS staff for reading Towed Video tapes.
