Expression Profiling of Cells In The Perilesional Area of Mouse Cerebral Cortex After Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) with Immune-Modifying Particle (IMP) Treatment

To investigate the cell type specific responses to traumatic brain injury with and without PLGA-based immune-modifying nanoparticle treatments, We performed single cell RNA sequencing of perilesion are cells from mice that received TBI with and without IMP treatment. Overall design: we harvested 3mm cubed of perilesional cerebral cortical tissue from two mice, 24 hours after receiving controlled cortical impact TBI with and without IMP treatments two hours post injuries. Dissociated single cells were proceeded for scRNAseq via 10x Genomics Chromium platform and sequenced using a Illumina Hiseq 6000
