SKYDataset

This contains the EEG recordings for subjects from the manuscript, "High Frequency Cerebral Activation and Inter-hemispheric synchronization following Sudarshan Kriya Yoga (SKY) in Brain Rhythms: The State effects". These 40 subjects underwent 5 minutes of baseline recording followed by 45 minutes of Sudarshan Kriya Yoga followed by 20 minutes of supine rest while listening to audio instructions. The total duration of the experiment was 1 hour 10 minutes.
subjects_epochs.mat : This contains the manual curated epochs from the recordings which were free of movements artifacts and noise. The "timings" array in the structure is of the shape 40subjects x 4events x 40 epochs. The first and last events were used for this analysis. Each epoch start time is mentioned in the array and the epoch length was fixed at 4 seconds.
SubjectMetadata.csv: This contains the age, sex and meditation experience in years of the subjects in the study.
