The Case´ Giardino, also known as the Garden Houses, are large structural complexes at the archaeological site Ostia, Italy. The Garden Houses were likely built as a luxurious residential complex. Through time, the houses' uses changed. The complex is located in Regio III, Insula IX within Ostia.
The Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST), University of Arkansas conducted partial high density surveys of the Case´ Giardino in 2007. CAST researchers surveyed the complex with the Optech ILRIS 3D scanner. The original scan files and the final registered point cloud are provided here.
