Headphones/speakers Experiment, 2018

This experiment was part of the "MICRO - Human Bodily Micromotion in Music Perception and Interaction" project. It explored the impact of music and rhythm on human body motion. In this experiment the focus was on exploring potential differences in the observed motor responses to music when using headphones or speakers. The goal of this experiment is to investigate human body motion happening while listening to music, with particular focus on entrainment to rhythm, and the possible differences in the quality or quantity of the body motion between two most typical listening conditions: through headphones or speakers. Participants are going to listen to the same stimulus twice, once through headphones and once through speakers (order counterbalanced) while the measurement of their movement will be performed.
