La sicurezza nazionale e il caso dell’internamento dei cittadini americano-giapponesi durante la seconda guerra mondiale (1942–1946)

The casus belli that signed the United States entry in the WWII was the attack to the base of Pearl Harbor on December 1941. After the attack, the consequences on the national security affected the civilian sphere of rights, notably the rights of the Japanese-American living on the West Coast and of their sons. This article aims to show the effects of the national security measures on the civilian population of Japanese origin during the WWII. In conclusion of this article, a great importance is attributed to a movement, set up by the Japanese American Citizens League(JACL) representatives, for obtaining the admission of the error.
