This study was designed to identify single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) associated with clam survivorship following QPX epizootics. DNA was extracted from clams derived from two geographically segregated populations (OYB and ARC) and deployed in an enzootic site in Massachusetts. The analysis contrasted samples collected before (2 x 48 clams) and after (2 x 48) undergoing QPX-related mortalities.
