The Extended Nonperiodic Domain LES for Scalar transport (ENDLESS) is proposed as a new approach to study the transport and dispersion of passive scalars over a large domain using LES. This dataset contains results of simulations in which the ENDLESS technique is applied to the study of oil plumes in the ocean mixed layer. The dataset consists of two validation cases as well as two application cases, which illustrate the adaptive plume-tracking ability of new method. This dataset also includes the simulation setup parameters as well as the plume structures for both validation and applications.
