Draft genome of Citrobacter sp. strain T1.2D-1

The aim of this project is to study the genetic information of Citrobacter sp. strain T1.D-1 isolated from the deep subsurface of the Iberian Pyrite Belt (Huelva, Spain) in strict anaerobic conditions. It was isolated from a rock core obtained at 63.55 mbs (meters below surface); during the Iberian Pyrite Belt Subsurface Life Detection project (IPBSL). It was isolated from a enrichment culture supplemented with thiosulfate and nitrate in a H2:CO2 (80:20) atmosphere.
