Air temperature, M'Bour, Senegal

Air temperature was measured at 0.1 Hz using a HMP50 temperature & relative humidity probe (Campbell® Scientific Instruments). The HMP50 probe is located in a naturally ventilated 10-plate radiation shield installed on the roof of a building (i.e. at about 10 m above the ground level) of the geophysical station of the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD) installed in a nature reserve of 50 ha, and 80 m from the seaside. Air temperature in Celsius degrees (°C) was recorded as 5 min averages using a CR200 datalogger (Campbell® Scientific Instruments) and distributed as 1 hour averages (UTC). The value reported for 01:00UTC represents the average over the past hour, and so on (the number of values used to compute the average is given for each time step).
