Parque Estadual da Serra do Mar (Atlantic Rainforest in Brazil) forest inventory and species traits (2006)

A forest inventory was conducted in 2006 in 14 non-contiguous 1 ha plots installed across de altitudinal range of the mountain Serra do Mar, southeast Brazil. The vegetation is of Atlantic Rainforest and data was collected by the Theme Project Functional Gradient (Biota/FAPESP 03/12595-7), coordinated by Professor Carlos Alfredo Joly (UNICAMP). Data was collected according to the RAINFOR protocol. The data set contains only populations with 30 or more individuals at each surveyed plot. For each species in the file, traits were later added (reproductive system, dispersal syndrome and wood density).
