Bacillus amyloliquefaciens is a gram-positive, aerobic, spore-forming bacteria usually found in soil. Although B. amyloliquefaciens is widely used as stimulators that promote plant growth and starter cultures for fermentation, there is little information on phages infecting B. amyloliquefaciens. Here, we isolated and sequenced the genome of the B. amyloliquefaciens bacteriophage TBA3 from horse manure in Seoul Horse Riding Club, Uijeongbu-si, Korea.
