Cement gland transcriptomes of 2 goose barnacles species (Pollicipes pollicipes and Lepas anatifera)

RNA-seq was conducted on goose barnacles cement gland tissue from pelagic gooseneck barnacle (Lepas anatifera) and goose neck barnacle (Pollicipes pollicipes ) . Here, we generated the first de novo assembly of the goose barnacles, cement gland transcriptomes in the expectation that such genomic resources will provide understanding on the adhesion process in Cirripedia.
