Water distribution zones of the Seine-Normandie basin

Water distribution areas, where resources are found to be insufficient, other than exceptional, in relation to needs, were defined by Article R211-71 of the Environment Code and then by Order 2009-1028 of the Prefect coordinator of the basin of 31 July 2009, amended on 14 October 2016. Prefectural decrees identify the communes concerned in each department. In particular, the Bajo-Bathonian EEZ was amended in 2017 by joint inter-prefectural order of Orne and Calvados; the ZRE de l’Aronde was amended on 25 May 2018 by inter-prefectural order of Oise.
