Everyday Digital Life, 2022

This data deposit is based upon a year-long ethnographic study of the digital lives of asylum seekers in the UK. The aim of the study was to understand the role that smartphones now play in the asylum application process and broader parts of everyday life (making friends, staying connected with family, navigating cities etc.). This project was co-designed with a charity in the NE England, and the interview questions were developed and implemented together. They span both sides of the project (i.e. in direct relation to the asylum application process and broader everyday life).本数据集存档基于一项针对英国境内寻求庇护者数字生活开展的为期一年的民族志研究。本研究旨在探究智能手机在庇护申请流程，以及交友、与家人保持联系、城市出行等更广泛的日常生活场景中所扮演的角色。本项目与英格兰东北部的一家慈善机构联合设计，访谈提纲由双方共同制定并实施，其覆盖本研究的两大范畴：即与庇护申请流程直接相关的内容，以及更广泛的日常生活相关内容。
