Based on TF-IDF analysis, high-frequency terms were identified in the book Historical Odes to Wuhu’s Jiaoji Temple. Following the statistical and categorical analysis of high-frequency terms in the poetry collection, a focused strategy was adopted to avoid generalized discourse and enhance interpretive effectiveness. This involved selecting the top three most frequent and representative vocabulary items from each of the four categories：spatial, architectural, landscape, and cultural, as the core analytical subjects. It should be noted that the poets’ descriptions of space, architecture, and landscape originate from their genuine perception and direct observation, reflecting objective phenomena. However, the cultural meanings embedded in these descriptions carry a subjective dimension, representing the poets’ personal emotions and cultural backgrounds. Therefore, through a systematic analysis of more than six hundred poems, this study extracts the shared spatial images and cultural symbols contained within them, ensuring that these cultural depictions possess a certain degree of objectivity. By means of quantitative analysis, it becomes possible to reveal universal patterns within these subjective cultural expressions, thereby providing an objective cultural basis for the understanding and revitalisation design of heritage spaces.
