ROFT Design generator

The On-Farm Experimental Design application is a tool designed to help researchers plan and optimize experimental designs for On-Farm trials although not exclusively. The application automatically generates multiple balanced and partially balanced design configurations for which efficiency is calculated. Offering various options to suit different experimental requirements and efficiencies from which the researcher can choose the most suitable option. The tool is particularly useful for studying multiple treatments (checks and genotypes) distributed across multiple on-farm locations with the options to stratify the farmers by additional factors like region, country, gender.
