Dissolved inorganic carbon and total alkalinity measurements from CTD niskin collected depth profiles along the tropical and subtropical North and South Atlantic Ocean on GEOTRACES cruise D361.

This dataset contains measurements of seawater dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) and total alkalinity (TA) from the tropical and subtropical Atlantic. Samples were collected during RRS Discovery cruise D361, between February and March 2011, as part of the GEOTRACES research programme. Samples from casts 5 to 39 (excluding 32) were analysed on board and cast 32 and 40 to 48 were poisoned and analysed at the National Oceanography Centre (University of Southampton, UK) after completion of the research cruise.
