Brucellosis being a highly contagious zoonosis that occurs worldwide together with being endemic in Egypt. Whole-genome sequencing (WGS) is a widely used molecular typing method. The study aimed to confirm Brucella at the species level and investigate AMR and pathogenicity associated determinants of the isolates obtained from different localities in Egypt based on whole genome analysis.
