Accumulation of novel bisacridines (IKE15, IKE18) in C. albicans ATCC 10231 cells

The datasets contain fluorescence microscopic analyses of the uptake and accumulation of novel bisacridines (IKE15, IKE18) in Candida albicans strain ATCC 10231 cells. The cells were suspended in PBS and incubated for 5 minutes and 1 hour in the presence of the compound at a concentration of 100 µM. Subsequently, the cells were examined using the Olympus BX-60 fluorescence microscope (λex = 470 – 490 nm, λem ≥ 500 nm, magnification × 40), equipped with the Olympus XC50 digital camera (Olympus Corporation, Tokyo, Japan). The scale bars correspond to 20 µm.
