Dietary contribution of three food sources to macroinvertebrates calculated using stable isotopes

The contribution of three food sources (algae, coarse and fine particulate organic matter) to the diet of five stream macroinvertebrate taxa was calculated using stable isotope analysis. Contributions were calculated using MixSIAR and two isotopes (C and N) in 2014 and three isotopes (C, N and H) in 2015. The study was conducted in 15 headwater streams in northern New Brunswick (Canada).
