Data scanned directly from paper maps. There are two types of data available: (data1: geometrically corrected data) and (data2: raw image data). Map compilation from air photographs of Feb. 20, 1975 and Jan. 22, 1983, controlled by triangulation points established by Japan Antarctic Research Expeditions, 1971, and 1974.本数据集直接由纸质地图扫描得到。目前提供两类数据：（数据1：几何校正数据）与（数据2：原始图像数据）。该地图数据集基于1975年2月20日与1983年1月22日的航空摄影照片编制，其测绘控制基准为1971年及1974年日本南极考察队设立的三角测量控制点。
