This collection contains datasets from a completed study examining Approved Mental Health Professionals’ (AMHPs) perspectives on working with spoken and sign language interpreters during Mental Health Act (MHA) assessments in England. The study identified key challenges, best practices, and recommendations for improving interpreter-mediated assessments.This collection includes 6 files:1. README – Overview of the study and data.2. AMHP Survey Results – 132 quantitative and qualitative responses from AMHPs.3. Interpreter Survey Results – 39 quantitative and qualitative responses from spoken and sign language interpreters.4.
