CLM - Multivariate statistics of groundwater chemistry in Richmond and Clarence river basins

## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nThis datasets includes water chemistry data from the Richmond and Clarence river basins. Furthermore, it contains the outputs of multivariate statistical analysis.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nAs part of the analysis, the water chemistry records were grouped into different clusters based on major ions composition, pH and electrical conductivity.\n\n\n\nThe type of multivariate statistical analysis that was conducted is a hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA).\n\n\n\nThe details on this analysis are provided in Clarence-Moreton bioregional assessment programme product 2.1-2.2 (Raiber et al., 2016a).
