Code to produce figures for 'Quantum tunneling without a barrier' This collection contains the code used to produce the figures in the paper Quantum tunneling without a barrier. Anne Weber, Margarita Khokhlova, and Emilio Pisanty. Physical Review A, in press (2025), [arXiv:2311.14826]. This repository contains Mathematica notebooks that are used to produce the figures, pdf printouts of those notebooks as well respective figures used for the paper. We know that some parts of the code are not particularly robust and certainly not well-written, but for the presented purpose of producing the figures it works perfectly fine and we hope that they are useful. For example, the "integration path finder" used to generate Figure 2 will not work for arbitrary driving fields. At this point, we recommend looking out for a more recent publication of ours that introduces the methods of Picard-Lefschetz theory to strong-field physics processes (manuscript currently in preparation, title tbd). The copyright of this collection rests with the authors (2025). It is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0) license; reuse and redistribution is allowed (and encouraged) under the terms of that license. However, in addition to that legal constraint, if your use of this material results in a publication, you have the academic obligation to cite the paper as quoted above. Also please let us know, because we will probably appreciate it ;-)
