Meteorological data of the 'Julius-Kühn-Feld' experimental station in Halle/Saale, Germany, 1878-2018

This dataset contains the meteorological parameter measured at the experimental station of the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg in the years 1878-2018. Missing data has been added from the dataset of the German Meteorological Service (DWD). The time period of the climate observations supplements the data sets of grain and straw yield and of soil parameters of the long-term field experiment 'Eternal Rye'. It includes air pressure, temperature (2 m, 5 cm), hours of sunshine, global radiation, relative humidity, dew point, vapor pressure, saturation deficit, precipitation, snow height, wind, and evaporation on a daily basis. Since Excel cannot show dates before January 1, 1900, in a date format the columns A-C have been added to unambiguously add the day of measurement in no specific data format.
