Pre-registered crinophagy and macroautophagy gene sets

Two gene sets defined prior to statistical analysis of human islet proteomic and transcriptomic data. The crinophagy set comprises 31 proteins spanning granule-lysosome fusion machinery, calcium-regulated granule identity, lysosomal degradation and secretory cargo. The macroautophagy comparator set comprises 14 proteins spanning core initiation and conjugation machinery, the ATG8 family and selective autophagy cargo receptors. Files include version 1, the revised version 2, and a header recording the single revision made before any statistical test was performed, with its date and reason. Symbols are mapped to Entrez, UniProt and Ensembl identifiers.
