treptomyces albireticuli MDJK11 is a plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium (PGPR) isolated from the peony rhizosphere. It has a negative effect on Fusarium solani, which can cause the peony root rot. In the plate confrontation experiment, the inhibition zone reached 7.07mm. It has been collected in China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center (CGMCC), and the preservation number is 13256. To further study the mechanisms of promoting plant growth and biocontrol, a complete genomic sequencing is necessary.
