Age-related hearing loss is highly prevalent among older adults. However, there is a lack of rigorous scientific validation of the proposed mobile-based hearing screening solutions compared to conventional audiometers among older people living in the community. This study aimed to develop and validate the diagnostic accuracy of a mobile-based hearing audiometry system.
