We provide a genome of medical plant named Hemsleya ellipsoidea. The species belongs to Cucurbitaceae family and be of high medical value because of its production(cucurbitacin 2a) extracted from the tube. The Hemsleya ellipsoidea genome was first sequenced and assembled by our lab and we would like to share with others. The high quality genome data was sequenced by ONT platform and was100X covered. Our paper will be published soon.
