WES and WGS of intestinal tumors in Msh2 knockout mice

This project provides whole-exome sequencing (WES) and whole-genome sequencing (WGS) data of intestinal tumors that developed in Msh2 knockout mice. The dataset includes both spontaneously developed tumors and tumors induced by treatment with potassium bromate (KBrO3), an oxidizing agent. It also contains matched normal tissues from the same individuals to enable detection of somatic mutations. Msh2 is a DNA mismatch repair gene, and its loss predisposes mice to a mutator phenotype and tumorigenesis. These data will be useful for studying mutation spectrum, microsatellite instability, and oxidative stress-associated carcinogenesis.
