North Karelia: Business Interviews on Best Practices for Workplace Integration and Immigrant Retention in the North Karelia Living Lab.

This dataset contains interviews with North Karelian businesses aimed at identifying the problems they face when hiring foreigners and the solutions they have implemented. The focus is on gathering "best practices" to improve companies' capacity to recruit and orient foreign labour, particularly in sectors facing worker shortages like machinery and factory work. The data is being used to develop an information package/guide for companies to foster better integration of foreign workers into the local workplace
