Omnidirectional Image Quality Assessment Database (OMNIQAD): Description and Examples

OMNIQAD database contains distorted omnidirectional images (a file DOID23.zip download). Specifically, it offers a set of 374 distorted images in total (360° field of view). It is based on 11 reference images, each compressed in 24 variants and also in 10 versions of noise distortion. ► Specifically, the database consists of images distorted by: Compression (AVIF, HEIC, JPEG XL, JPEG) 6 different QP (Quantization Parameter) values for each codec Noise distortion (Gaussian and impulse noise) 5 values of variance and 5 values of noise density. ► The results of the objective quality assessment illustrate two images from the database included in the second file Sample_of_Objective_Quality_Assessment.zip download. ► Therefore, we provide all essential information about each reference image and its creator and publish our database under a CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
