Processed CESM Spring Sea Surface Temperature (SST) Data for the North Atlantic

Description: This dataset contains post-processed Sea Surface Temperature (SST) data derived from the Community Earth System Model (CESM) ensemble hindcasts (initialized in January). The data has been subsetted to focus on the Boreal Spring season (March-April-May, MAM) over the broad North Atlantic region. Data Specifications: Source Model: Community Earth System Model (CESM) - January Initialized Hindcasts. Variable: Sea Surface Temperature (sst). Time Coverage: March 1900 to May 2017 (Spring months only). Note: The time dimension includes 354 time steps (118 years 3 months/year). Temporal Resolution: Monthly (March, April, and May of each year). Spatial Coverage: North Atlantic Basin. Latitude: approx. 0°N – 70°N (70 grid points). Longitude: approx. 85°W – 0°E (86 grid points). Spatial Resolution: 1°x1°horizontal grid. Ensemble Dimension: Contains 20 individual ensemble members (case dimension). File Format: NetCDF (.nc).
