Pooled isolate sequences from AMR bacteria recovered from foods Raw sequence reads

Pooled isolate sequences (Pool-seqs) from food samples. Briefly, food samples were enriched overnight. Enrichments were then diluted and plated on selective differential agar containing antibiotics. Colonies of different morphologies from selective agar were then purified and enriched individually. Equal volumes of up to 25 purified isolate enrichments were then pooled together, and DNA was extracted from the pools. These pools were then sequenced (Pool-seqs) and used as a high-throughput screening method to investigate antimicrobial resistance of interest in the bacterial isolates.
