This index quantifies landscape heterogeneity, is highly sensitive to the uneven distribution of patch types within a landscape, and emphasizes the contribution of rare patch types to overall information content. Analyzing the Shannon Diversity Index within the Sanjiangyuan National Park can reflect the status of ecological integrity. This dataset is based on Land Use and Land Cover Change (LUCC) data and was calculated using the landscape pattern analysis software Fragstats. The spatial resolution of the Shannon Diversity Index data for the Sanjiangyuan National Park in 2015 and 2020 is 100 meters.
