Environmental data from mariculture farms in 2023 from YSI EXO 2 sondes monitoring including temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, chlorophyll, and photosynthetically active radiation

These data are part of the Mariculture Research and Restoration Consortium (Mariculture ReCon) Component of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council. We engaged shellfish and seaweed farmers in a cooperative research model to evaluate environmental influences of productivity at nine farm sites, with three farms in each of the growing regions: Prince William Sound, Kachemak Bay, and Kodiak. Production arrays were installed at each farm that included an experimental oyster cage and seeded kelp line, a YSI EXO 2 Sonde, a Hobo U24 logger, a Lowell TCM-1 current monitor, and a PME miniPAR logger. Discrete water column profile measurements were also taken periodically using YSI Exo 2 Sondes and RBR Concerto 3s. This file contains all data collected from the in situ and discrete YSI EXO 2s in 2023.
