In this study, in order to obtain a more comprehensive EST database for larval development of R. venosa, we have used Illumina Hi-seq2500 platform to perform the transcriptome sequencing from 6 different developmental stage (one spiral whorl stage, two spiral whorls stage, earlier stage of three spiral whorls, later stage of three spiral whorls, four spiral whorls stage(competent larva), postlarva .This information would provide access to the genetic and genomic research on the gastropod R. venosa.
