Bacterial microbiota of Haplaxius crudus

This study present relevant aspects about the endosymbionts in the microbiota of field-collected H. crudus (vector of phytoplasma that causes the devastating lethal yellowing disease) using high-throughput 16S rRNA sequencing. These results provide new information concerning the bacterial community of insect vectors of phytoplasma with economic relevance.
