Data for "Vertical redistribution of principle water masses on the Northeast Greenland Shelf"

Here we present a comprehensive dataset of temperature and practical salinity collected over the Northeast Greenland shelf and fjords from 1923 to 2019 as part of several research cruises and monitoring programs. Prior to 1990, the majority of the profiles were sampled using bottles whereas modern profiles were primarily sampled with CTD instrumentation. Additionally, Airborne Expendable CTD and a few profiling floats contribute to the data set. A total of 4247 profiles are complied.

本项研究呈现了自1923年至2019年间，在格陵兰岛东北部浅滩及其峡湾区域通过多次科研巡航和监测项目所收集的全面温度与实际盐度数据集。在1990年之前，绝大多数数据样本是通过采样瓶进行采集的，而现代数据样本则主要采用CTD（海洋综合测量系统）进行测量。此外，空中可消耗CTD设备和若干个剖面浮标亦为数据集提供了重要贡献。总计4247个数据剖面被整合入本数据集。
