Adenotonsillectomy in Children with Sickle Cell Disease and Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Data obtained for our retrospective review investigating T&A outcomes in pediatric patients with sickle cell disease and obstructive sleep apnea. Patient demographics, medical history, and pre- and post-transfusion hemoglobin levels were collected at time of T&A on 132 patients. In addition, We collected sleep study and hospital utilization data pre- and post-T&A in these patients. We also investigated post-T&A complication rates in this patient population.
