The Travel Survey (The Travel and Holiday Survey until 2019) is a continuation of Statistics Norway's Omnibus Survey that was conducted between 1992-2004.
The Travel Survey is conducted four times a year, one time each quarter. The main objective of the survey is to map the travel habits of Norwegians both in Norway and abroad. In addition to data concerning Norwegians travel habits, data is also collected about cross-border shopping, tobacco and alcohol consumption, internet use and information technology, wood heating, influenza vaccines and attitudes towards immigration. Some topics are included in each quarter, while others are only included once.
