资源简介:
Intestinal microbiota, the microbe in microecological habitat of the host, has been a heated topic for the complex intestinal ecosystem, which contributes a lot to health care or disease cure. The pacific white shrimp, Litopenaeus vannamei, is becoming increasingly important for aquaculture as one of the most profitable species in shrimp farming, with the production being more than 3 million tons per year. In recent years, the shrimp production has been decreasing due to the disease outbreaks. In order to prevent disease outbreaks, maintaining shrimp intestinal bacterial balance is an effective behavior. We report the composition, diversity and function of the intestinal microbiota in pacific white shrimp at different culture stages via high throughput sequencing. The difference of the microbial composition, diversity and function at different culture stages were detected, which would improve our knowledge on intestinal microbiota in pacific white shrimp.
