Image Dataset with 51 classes the Pantaneiro Cattle. The images in the dataset were collected between 1:50pm and 4:48pm on January 25, 2019 at the Aquidauana Pantanal Cattle Conservation Center (NUBOPAN) in the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul/Aquidauana University Unit (UEMS/UUA). This is located in the municipality of Aquidauan/MS which is in the Pantanal region of Mato Grosso do Sul. The geographical coordinates were as follows: latitude 20º28' S, longitude 55º48' W and an altitude of 149 meters. In this study, 51 Pantanal cattle units of both sexes and various ages were used. This is equivalent to 10% of the existing population for this breed. Images were collected using the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) set MIDI MD-1004NS MD-DVR41. The image quality was AHD 720p and the recording capacity was 1Tb. Four cameras were positioned at the exit outlet to collect images of the back, profile, side, and face. Images of the cattle’s backs were collected using camera 1. This was positioned approximately 2.5 meters high with an inclination angle of 30º. The other cameras were positioned according to the sketch at the same height as the pickets. The videos collected were stored in the DVR, transferred to computers, analyzed, and divided into 212 smaller videos. Images of the cattle were then extracted from these videos. The dataset was formed using 27,849 images of Pantanal cattle and the number of images obtained varied according to filming to time of each cattle.本数据集为包含51个类别的潘塔纳尔牛（Pantaneiro Cattle）图像数据集。数据集图像采集于2019年1月25日下午1点50分至4点48分，采集地点位于南马托格罗索州立大学/阿基达乌纳分校（UEMS/UUA）的阿基达乌纳潘塔纳尔牛保护中心（NUBOPAN），该中心地处巴西南马托格罗索州阿基达乌纳市，隶属于潘塔纳尔湿地区域。其地理坐标为南纬20°28′、西经55°48′，海拔高度149米。本研究共纳入51头不同性别、不同年龄段的潘塔纳尔牛个体，约占该品种现存种群总数的10%。图像采集设备为型号MIDI MD-1004NS MD-DVR41的数字视频录像机（Digital Video Recorder，DVR），图像质量规格为AHD 720p，存储容量为1Tb。四台摄像头布置于出口区域，分别用于采集牛只的背部、侧面、体侧及面部图像：其中1号摄像头用于采集牛只背部图像，安装高度约2.5米，倾斜角度为30°；其余摄像头按照布设示意图安装，高度与牧场围栏一致。采集得到的视频先存储于DVR中，随后传输至计算机进行分析处理，并被剪辑为212段短视频，再从这些短视频中提取牛只图像。最终数据集共包含27849张潘塔纳尔牛图像，单头个体的图像采集数量因拍摄时长不同而存在差异。
