PISCO: Intertidal: site temperature data: Fogarty Creek, Oregon, USA (FCKX00)
This metadata record describes a mix of intertidal seawater and air temperature data collected at Fogarty Creek, Oregon, USA by PISCO. Measurements were collected using Onset Tidbit V2 Temp Data Logger (Onset Computer Corp. UTBI-001) beginning 2010-05-14. Site temperature loggers are bolted down in a wire cage at various locations within each site. Mussel growth temperature loggers are bolted down in a wire cage at high, mid, or low positions within a mussel bed. Temperature is recorded at 10.0 minute intervals.

Fernow Experimental Forest site, station Watershed 4 at Fernow Experimental Forest, study of nitrate in streamwater in units of milligramsPerLiter on a yearly timescale
The EcoTrends project was established in 2004 by Dr. Debra Peters (Jornada Basin LTER, USDA-ARS Jornada Experimental Range) and Dr. Ariel Lugo (Luquillo LTER, USDA-FS Luquillo Experimental Forest) to support the collection and analysis of long-term ecological datasets. The project is a large synthesis effort focused on improving the accessibility and use of long-term data. At present, there are ~50 state and federally funded research sites that are participating and contributing to the EcoTrends project, including all 26 Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER) sites and sites funded by the USDA Agriculture Research Service (ARS), USDA Forest Service, US Department of Energy, US Geological Survey (USGS) and numerous universities. Data from the EcoTrends project are available through an exploratory web portal (http://www.ecotrends.info). This web portal enables the continuation of data compilation and accessibility by users through an interactive web application. Ongoing data compilation is updated through both manual and automatic processing as part of the LTER Provenance Aware Synthesis Tracking Architecture (PASTA). The web portal is a collaboration between the Jornada LTER and the LTER Network Office. The following dataset from Fernow Experimental Forest (FER) contains nitrate in streamwater measurements in milligramsPerLiter units and were aggregated to a yearly timescale.

Logan River Observatory: Logan River Above Wood Camp Aquatic Site (LR_WC_A) Raw Data
This dataset contains raw data for all of the variables measured for the aquatic site on the Logan River Above Wood Camp (LR_WC_A). Each file contains a calendar year of data. The file for the current year is updated on a daily basis. The data values were collected by a variety of sensors at 15 minute intervals. The file header contains detailed metadata for the site and the variable and method of each column. This site is currently operated as part of the Logan River Observatory. Prior to 2018 this site was operated as part of the iUTAH GAMUT Network.

Nutrient values below limit (#99) of quantification, but above limit of detection are shown as second values. All Nutrients were filtered by 0.45 µm. The actual limit of quantification is assumed to be lower than the operationally defined limit of quantification (lowest calibration point).

Cary Environmental Monitoring Program Daily Meteorological and Solar Radiation Data: 1988-2018
The Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies Environmental Monitoring Program is a long-term data collection program designed to understand how the environment changes over time. The program includes monitoring of climate including temperature and precipitation, as well as variables related to air pollution, such as acid deposition and ozone, and water pollution and other streamwater chemistry. Our solar radiation monitoring includes diffuse and global photosynthetically active radiation (PAR), diffuse and global shortwave radiation, net radiation and UV. Long-term monitoring of solar radiation provides us with an understanding of atmospheric energy dynamics, which can affect natural and human systems. The Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies, Environmental Monitoring Program furnishes data under the following conditions: The data have received quality assurance scrutiny by our program, and, although we are confident of the accuracy of these data, Cary Institute will not be held liable for errors in these data. Data are subject to change resulting from updates in data screening or models used.
