Metagenomic study of intestinal microflora of Heteropneustes fossilis (Bloch)

Gut microbiota is a dynamic biosystem and involved in different biological, cellular process. Culture independent High-throughput sequencing helped to understand microbial diversity and communities. Intestinal microbiome is composition of microbial communities including bacteria, archaea, fungi etc. These microbes involved in different metabolic pathways including nutrient absorption, energy metabolism, diseases, environmental information, genetical information. The aim of this project was to study the effects of chlorpyrifos on intestinal status and oxidative stress of Heteropneustes fossilis (Bloch) under the regulation of intestinal flora.
